The Lord's command to His disciples before leaving this world was "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matt. 28:19-20)
We call this command the Great Commission. This commission involves:
1) Winning the lost to Christ
2) Baptizing converts
3) Teaching believers to obey what the Savior has commanded them in the Scriptures
The lessons in our Discipleship Course will help the Christian understand basic Bible doctrines and apply scriptural principles to daily living providing the foundational steps to becoming a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, a disciple.
